The restaurant’s back room, used for private events, has this same charming atmosphere. Seating up to 64 people, the banquet room is ideal for a business dinner, birthday party or function. Le Relais offers customised group packages.

The primary concern at Le Relais is not to disguise and misrepresent food in pretentious, pseudo-contemporary preparations, but to offer friendly bistro cuisine in which ingredients retain their full flavour. And this means that no concessions are made on quality. 

As a starter, for example, there are superb shrimp croquettes – and the use of the plural here is fully justified. You could also try anguilles au vert (freshwater eel in a green herb sauce), prepared to the highest standards. Or again, there are various preparations based on mussels in the generous ‘golden’ size category. 

The côte à l’os (club steak), the veal liver or kidneys, the duo de boudin (blood sausage duo) and perhaps even the vol-au-vent have become true house specialities that are not to be missed. Alongside these traditional delicacies, though, the menu also includes more contemporary dishes such as the exemplary red tuna tartare with coriander or, for vegetarians, the market vegetable stir-fry with soya sauce. One final essential category on the menu should also be mentioned: lobsters from the tank, which can be savoured as lobster en belle-vue, of course, or roasted with herbs or garlic and basil, or Thai-style.

As well as delicious food, one of our real strong points is our cellar. The most original feature here is a wonderful selection of biodynamic wines. The owner is particularly attached to his wine list, and all diners will find something to their liking, whether they go for the wine of the month, offered at particularly attractive prices, or prefer to choose from the well-balanced range of wines available by the glass.

This sense of freedom is also felt at the bar, which among other things offers a fine selection of premium whiskies, including some single casks, and some unusual bottles all the way from Japan.

Our facilities include a remarkable suspended and heated terrace, so that you can enjoy dining outside for as much of the year as possible. From March onwards, the terrace is open until sunset, and can accommodate up to 65 diners.

We are open seven days a week, welcoming you until midnight on weekdays and as late as 00:30 on Friday and Saturday – ideal if you are feeling peckish after the show! From Monday to Friday, you can try our superb two-course lunch for €14.90, while on Saturday and Sunday there is a magnificent three-course lunchtime menu that represents unbeatable value for money.
